Creating a Reflective Home

I am on a continual mission to make my home reflective of the people who live here.

I have always enjoyed going into someones home of which mirrored their inhabitants.

Giving one a view into their lives through pictures and souvenirs, but also through color and textiles.

Your home speaks VOLUMES about you and your family!

It tells a story of where you’ve been, who you are and those you choose to spend your time with.

Is your home a reflection of your travels, children or family?

Does it match your personality?

Take a look around your home, what does it tell of those that live there?

It is a haven, a place of comfort. Where you hang your hat.

Today mine screams that lots of kids live here…some of which don’t always want to clean up after themselves. :/

It also says that we are still trying to figure things out….but isn’t that part of the beauty!

It will evolve over time and that is what I enjoy!!!

A New Beginning…2013

A blank canvas,

A clean slate….

This is what I am telling myself right now as I sit in front of this computer screen looking back at this last year.
So much accomplished, memories made.
So much I failed to get done, moments slipping through my finger tips.
I tried this thing called blogging….I didn’t quite fully commit. I actually dropped the ball!
But this is where I pick up that ball up and try, try again.
You see I documented so much! I am always working on something….ALWAYS!

I am not one to give up. Yeah, I hit a wall, but so what!
The strength of ones character is when faced with a decision to try or fail they will keep on trying.
When faced with hope vs. doom I will always choose HOPE!

My HOPE is that I push myself to create, to think beyond the limitations that I seem to set for myself.
To believe that I have something to share, something that you will see as valuable.
This is a NEW beginning, a fresh start, with new resolutions and goals.
A year from now I will be glad I started TODAY!!!
